1. Who we are

LaundryCloud is operated by GlassBridge IT Solutions (“Glassbridge IT”, “we”, “us”). We provide laundry shop software that covers customer bookings, rider pickup and delivery, and the wash, dry, and fold queue.

You can reach our privacy contact at:

This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. It applies to laundrycloud.ph, shop sites hosted on LaundryCloud, the admin, customer, and rider apps, and related emails and support.

2. Who this policy covers

This policy covers:

  • Visitors to the LaundryCloud marketing site
  • Shop owners and the people they authorize as admins
  • Staff and riders added by a shop
  • Customers who book laundry with a shop that uses LaundryCloud

A laundry shop that uses LaundryCloud decides what services it offers, which customers it serves, and how it runs pickup, washing, and delivery. For that shop’s customer records, the shop is the personal information controller. We process those records so the shop can operate. For our own shop accounts, subscription billing, and this website, we are the personal information controller.

3. Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to run a shop and to bill for it.

Shop account

  • Shop name and the shop URL you choose
  • Owner email address and a password, which we store only as a hash
  • The one-time email code used to confirm the account
  • Optional shop phone number and settings the shop saves later

People who use a shop

  • Name, email, phone number, and role (customer, admin, staff, or rider)
  • Profile photo, if one is added
  • Google or Facebook account identifiers, if the person signs in with those services
  • Whether the account is active, and the time of the last sign-in

Addresses and bookings

  • Pickup and delivery address, including house or unit, street, barangay, city or municipality, landmark, postal code, and optional map coordinates or place identifier
  • Pickup instructions and the name and phone number on the address
  • Booking number, pickup window, estimated and actual weight, service choices such as detergent or fabric conditioner, price, and order status from booked through ready and delivered
  • Notes the customer or shop adds about the order

Payments and receipts

  • Whether an order is paid online or on pickup, the amount, status, reference number, and receipt
  • PayMongo checkout and payment identifiers when a customer pays with GCash, Maya, QR Ph, or a card
  • Subscription invoices for the shop, including amount, status, and PayMongo payment link

Card numbers, full card details, and e-wallet PINs are entered on PayMongo. We do not store them.

Devices, logs, and messages

  • A device token and device type when someone allows notifications
  • In-app notifications about bookings and account activity
  • Activity log entries, which may include the action, the record involved, and an IP address
  • Messages you send us by email, phone, or our Facebook page

We do not ask for government ID numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information to create a shop or a booking.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and verify shop accounts and user sign-in
  • Host each shop on its own URL and keep one license tied to that URL
  • Let customers book pickup or drop-off, and let staff and riders move an order through wash, dry, fold, and delivery
  • Show addresses and schedules to the shop’s authorized riders and staff
  • Record weights, prices, payments, and receipts
  • Count completed bookings for subscription billing and send invoices
  • Send service emails, including verification codes, booking updates, and receipts
  • Keep the service secure, investigate misuse, and keep activity logs
  • Answer support requests and tell shops about changes to the service or these policies

We do not sell personal information. We do not use shop customer lists for our own advertising.

5. Legal bases

Under the Data Privacy Act, we rely on these bases:

  • Contract. We process shop account and billing data to provide the subscription the shop signed up for. A shop processes customer booking data to fulfill the laundry order the customer requested, and we process that data on the shop’s instructions.
  • Consent. We ask before sending a verification code, before optional notification permission, and before sign-in with Google or Facebook. A person may withdraw optional consent without closing the underlying service, where the service can still run.
  • Legitimate interest. We keep security logs, prevent fraud and abuse, and understand whether the service is working. We balance this against the person’s rights and do not use it for unrelated marketing.
  • Legal obligation. We keep records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or a lawful request from a Philippine authority.

6. Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run LaundryCloud:

  • The shop. Admins, staff, and assigned riders of a shop can see the customer, address, booking, and payment records that shop needs to complete the order. Customers see their own bookings and receipts.
  • PayMongo. Online customer payments and shop subscription payments are processed by PayMongo. PayMongo receives the amount, a description of the charge, and the details the payer enters on its checkout page. PayMongo’s own privacy notice applies to that checkout.
  • Email delivery. We use an email provider to send verification codes, booking messages, and receipts to the address on the account.
  • Hosting and infrastructure. Shop data is stored on servers and databases we operate or contract for, so the apps can load bookings, accounts, and invoices.
  • Sign-in providers. If a person chooses Google or Facebook sign-in, that provider confirms the account. We store the identifier they return, along with the name and email needed for the LaundryCloud profile.
  • Authorities. We may disclose information if Philippine law, a court, or a regulator requires it, or if it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of a person or of GlassBridge IT Solutions.

Our public Facebook page at facebook.com/laundrycloudph is a separate channel. Messages sent there are also handled by Meta under its own terms.

7. Cookies and similar storage

LaundryCloud uses cookies and similar storage so signed-in people stay signed in and so forms can be protected from cross-site requests. Admin, customer, and rider sessions use separate cookies. These cookies are needed to operate the account. They are not advertising cookies.

The marketing site does not use a third-party analytics or advertising cookie. If that changes, we will update this policy before the new tool collects personal information.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as the purpose, the shop relationship, or the law requires:

  • Verification codes are kept only until they expire or the account is confirmed
  • Shop and user accounts are kept while the shop subscription is active and for a short period afterward so the shop can export records or reopen the account
  • Bookings, payments, and receipts are kept for the shop’s operations and for tax and accounting periods that apply in the Philippines
  • Security and activity logs are kept for a limited period needed to investigate incidents
  • Support correspondence is kept while we resolve the request and for a reasonable record of what was agreed

When a shop closes its account, we delete or de-identify personal information we no longer need, except records we must retain by law. A shop may ask us to delete customer records it controls, subject to those same legal holds.

9. How we protect information

Passwords are stored as hashes. Sessions use httpOnly cookies where the browser allows it. Access inside a shop is limited by role, so a rider sees assigned jobs and a customer sees their own orders. Payment card data stays with PayMongo.

No online service can promise perfect security. If we learn of a breach that creates a real risk of serious harm, we will notify affected people and the National Privacy Commission as the Data Privacy Act requires.

10. Children

LaundryCloud is a service for laundry businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18. A shop must not use LaundryCloud to collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email inquiry@glassbridgeit.com and we will delete it.

11. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you may ask to:

  • Know whether we process your personal information and to receive a copy of it
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest, or withdraw consent you previously gave
  • Ask us to delete or block information when it is incomplete, outdated, unlawfully obtained, or no longer necessary
  • Lodge a complaint, and to claim damages where the law allows it

Shop owners, staff, riders, and customers can update much of their profile inside the app. For anything the app does not cover, email inquiry@glassbridgeit.com. Tell us the shop URL and the email on the account so we can find the right record. We may ask for enough detail to confirm you are the person the record is about.

If the information belongs to a shop’s customer operations, we will also involve that shop, because the shop decides how those records are used. You may complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph if you believe your rights were not respected.

12. Shop owners and their customers

If you run a shop on LaundryCloud, you are responsible for telling your customers that their name, phone, address, booking, and payment details are stored in LaundryCloud so you can pick up, clean, and deliver their laundry. You must collect and use that information lawfully, and you must not use LaundryCloud to store information you have no right to hold.

Customers of a shop should contact the shop first about an order. Contact us if you cannot reach the shop, or if your request is about how LaundryCloud itself stores the data.

13. Changes to this policy

We will post any update on this page and change the date above. If a change materially affects how we use shop account or customer information, we will also notify shop owners by email or in the admin app before the change takes effect, where that is practical.

Questions about this policy can be sent to inquiry@glassbridgeit.com. The rules for using the service are in our Terms of Service.
